Making Patterns

I came across this great tutorial on Design Sponge on how to generate repeat patterns. I have tried a few methods which I have not been happy with, so thanks little bird big city for letting me know about this :)

So now I have a new obsession, something to help me create the wallpaper and fabrics I have been dreaming of making, here is a pattern I made using one of my drawings...

My time away has been spent in Beautiful Bali. It is place full of inspiration, and I am looking forward to using this renewed energy I have on some projects for my shop opening soon!

Fabrics!

I have been having a go at designing some fabrics, which can be found at Spoonflower. Getting my head around patterns and colour combinations has been a problem! Eventually I will get some fabrics made up. Well... that's the plan anyway!

Did I mention before that I love patterns and colour?  The most logical thing for me to own would be a Kaliedoscope - which is why I just had to buy this when I saw it!

I have some ideas using these patterns which I will post later...
