While I am local to the Manyung Gallery, I've never actually stopped by before. My first visit was a very pleasant experience. While I'm often not a big fan of contemporary art, I was however impressed by the works at the gallery, especially that of Janine Daddo. Her style, themes and the vibrancy of her work really captured my eye, heart and imagination. Unlike other artist works that may look better when photographed than actually up close, her individual pieces really stand out and entice the passer-by to stop and observe. The gallery staff, who I found to be very helpful and informative, also pointed out that Janine is now doing metal sculpture as well; some of which was present, and was equally as impressive as her oil and mixed media paintings.

Regards,
Damian, FrankstonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
